Plankton Luminaire is handmade lighting fixture. The form is inspired by microschope picture of an plantplankton.
I wanted to play and try with different colour and material compositions.
Throuhg sandplasted dome light shimmers softly, making different
moods by coloured smaller inside dome.
Techniques:
Mouth blown glass, mold and free formed.
Ceramic slip casting welded and painted metal sheet
Materials:
Soda-lime glass: clear, coloured and sandplasted
Pigment coloured porcelain
Stainles steel, spray paint
Led lamp, fibre cord
